Holding a degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris (one of the top French engineering schools), and fully bilingual in French and English, Pierre-Yves Thoulon has 25 years of experience in Research and Development, of which 17 in management, in large corporations such as HP or Gemplus (the world leader in Smart Cards), as well as smaller businesses.
During his career, in France and in the USA, he has build deep knowledge and proven experience in management of people, of technologies, of projects, and of processes. Leading teams up to 100 engineers, he has managed significant R&D budgets (10M€).
Enthusiastic about technology, Pierre-Yves Thoulon has dealt with electronic board design, integrated circuit design, and software development, in such areas as computer networking, information security, and information systems at large.
